Terragen is a land, sky and water rendering program that creates ultra realistic three-dimensional worlds. Several optional settings provide a variety of possible landscapes and atmospheres. A feature under development is the ability to render 3D clouds. The rendered results can be saved in a proprietary format or as BMP files. Images will only be saved in 24 bit format if your display is in 24 bit mode or higher.

- Terrains up to 4097 X 4097 resolution, 513 X 513 in the unregistered version.
- Real world scaling, allwoing positions to be specified in metres.
- Planet curvature
- Anti-aliasing
- Shadows and sunbeams from clouds

Version 0.8.11 replaces  0.7.25
